Emma Lake, Christopher Lake, Anglin Lake, Sandy Lake, Namekus Lake, Waskesiu Lake, Crean Lake, Hanging Heart Lakes, Candle Lake to name a few. All of these great locations are only a 2 minute to 60 minutes drive from the park.
Great Blue Heron Provincial Park is right next door. Featuring atv trails, cross country ski trails, boat launches, camp and picnic sites, hiking trails, disc golf, beaches you name it GBH has it.
The Prince Albert National Park, home of Waskesiu townsite and Grey Owl’s Cabin. History, site seeing, shopping and all sorts of great things await you in a short scenic 40 minute drive.
From this point you are only 2 hours from LaRonge. It is a great day trip for those lazy Sunday drives. Experience the scenic Precambrian shield at its finest.

- We are located on the Trans Canada Groomed Snowmobile Trail.
- ATVs are allowed on the property and when you purchase the local ATV licence they are legal to drive on many roadways and trails all over the Lakeland area.
- The Murray Point boat launch is only 2kms from the park and Prince Albert National Park is a quick drive on the scenic route highway #263.
- The Great Blue Heron provincial park offers atv trails, cross country ski trails and several summer activities and events that are open to the public.
- Waskesiu townsite is a 40 minute drive on highway 263 that will take you past Sandy Lake, the height of land look out tower, the Shady Lake look out and many beautiful places to park, hike, bike or whatever your outdoor adventurer seeks.
We are located in golf country!
- The Emma Lake Golf Course is a beautiful 18 hole course carved out of the boreal forest. Grass greens and the comfort of Putter’s Lounge after a great game.
- The world famous Lobstick Golf Course in Waskesiu has 18 holes of championship level. This course has been golfed by some of the best golfers Saskatchewan and Canada has to offer and can provide a challenge for any golfer.
- ElkRidge Resort can be accessed through the National Park or by heading straight north of Christopher Lake on Highway 2 towards LaRonge. This course is a must see featuring 27 gorgeous holes with a full pro shop and your choice of restaurants on site. If you have a non-golfer with you there is also Tree-O-Six zip line adventures.
There are another six great choices from Candle Lake to Prince Albert that will be sure to satisfy the most avid golfer.
